Q. what's for breakfast?

A. coffee (decaf or regular), tea, or hot chocolate . . . just-baked bread, croissants, and pastries . . . muesli . . . a selection of homemade jams, marmalades, honey and nutella . . . yoghurts . . . fresh fruit . . . juice.

Q. what time is breakfast served?
A. between 8.30am and 9.30am during the week, and 8.30am and 10am during the weekend

Q. do you make all of the jams and marmalades yourself?
A. no . . . but our neighbor does! Her name is Isabella, and she supplies us with a wide variety of homemade jams that she makes from fruit grown in her own garden, just around the corner from us. Our personal favorites include blackberry, yellow plum, cherry, apricot, and a mixture of peach and nectarine.

Q. i'm on a diet and don't eat bread . .. what would you recommend?
A. That you visit a different country instead of france? hah haha . . . kidding! we'd recommend going off your diet for a few days . . . you're on vacation for pete's sake! but failing that, you'll have plenty of fruit to choose from every morning . . . and yoghurt . .. and juice . . . and cereal. we won't let you starve :-)
